The meal was delicious and fairly priced. Service was quick and friendly.

Very disappointed with the food. Had the enchilada. After eating Mexican food in Texas this was bad. Usually you get chips and salsas with meal, not there the enchilada tasted bad and way too much cheese. I will not eat there again and will not recommend it to anyone I know. 👎!!!!!!!

Not quite Mexican food. The place was clean, but besides that I'll pass.

Politely told the server that we felt there wasn't enough chicken on our chicken fajitas. TONS of veggies but very little chicken. When the hostess/manager came over to address the complaint she was very rude (we overlooked her attitude when she threw down the menus when she sat us). While we were telling her about our meal she abruptly interupted and said that she would get us more chicken, but she would have to charge extra. She totally missed the point as we didn't see the "8 ozs chicken" on fajita skillet. Server was great, food tasted ok but also surprised this restaurant doesn't offer complimentary chips and salsa...you pay $8 if you desire. It's been years since we've been here and we won't be back. Hostess/ Manager made us realize they don't value our business.

Our server was not attentive.We had to ask for water 4 times, my husband and I enjoy eating out,we understand that people have off nights but we watched her with the group behind us she was just as bad..

Love El Bees. Been a regular customer for almost 15 years. Best tacos and enchiladas in town and BY FAR the BEST Chile Relleno I've had in my life. I can't get over the flavor. Amazing. Service is always excellent and the margaritas are delicious! Best Mexican food this side of 72nd street!

Great food and service

I've been going to El Bee's since I was a kid, and I still greatly enjoy it. The best way I can think of to describe it is as "Mexican Comfort Food". It's good, hearty, cheesy, enjoyable Americanized Mexican food. It's not fancy, it's not authentic, but it's great in it's niche.Also, get the bean dip with flour chips. Their flour chips are quite possibly the best chips I've found anywhere.

El Bees has always been my favorite. Both locations are always so good. 35 years and never a bad meal or service. Also the best margarita around, my opinion.

Great food, big portions, and fast service

Great margaritas, but I'm not a fan of the food. The salsa is bland.

They have really great wings and some nice home cut waffle fries at a great price I will be going back

Food was overpriced and extremely dry or like soup the two tacos I ordered wear Superdry did not realize it was a text Mex restaurant till I walked in sign said Mexican misguided but already walked 20 minutes to the restaurant thought the $20 was little steep for two tacos and a enchilada but hey it might be good food/ not so much the enchiladas could have been mistaken for soup of bean and rice/ I called to speak with the manager after walking 20 minutes to and 20 minutes from the manager stated I could get my money back if I return the food and hung up with me call back to ask when the GM would be available what's told the next day at 4 I will be calling horrible way to treat people

Staff is always nice and the food is always good. Tried their quesadilla-it is not a traditional one. More like a smothered burrito, but super delicious. Love their beans!

My parents used to take my brother and I here a lot when we were little, so I have lots of good memories of this place. They have been in business for a long time. The food is good, the menu is reasonably priced & offers a decent selection. This is now a place my significant other and I like to go when we have kid-free outings. Keep up the good work! Would recommend to others.

Good Mexican food!The service was fast and friendly.The food was very good! Between the four of us we each had four different dishes and everyone was happy with their meals.The wives had Margaritas and liked them, the beers I had were good as well.If you are looking for a good Mexican restaurant, I recommend you give el bees a try.

Everything tasted the same. I went with three people, and we all ordered something different. Yet it all looked and tasted the same. Which wasn't anything to write home about. And what Mexican restaurant in this country doesn't serve complimentary chips and salsa?!? Then when we did order it ($7), it was sub par at best. Two stars because the service was decent.

Good tasting food with an authentic feel. Our waitress wasn't super personable (but it was kind of busy). Also I would've prefered more bang for my buck. Overall good experience and I'll go back.

Can't go wrong picking this place after a full day of fun at local pumpkin patch. The food & staff was great. Tough watching the Huskers lose tho. 😖

Great Mexican food! Relaxed atmosphere with good portions for the prices. I enjoyed a couple of lunches here with my Project managers and fellow crew members. Had a good time eating some great homemade Mexican food! Kinda on the outskirts of town, but worth the drive from anywhere in the Omaha metro area.

As far from the Mexican food I was used to in Texas as I have had in Omaha. Small menu, slow service. My meal mates liked their food, thus the three star rating.

I loved their enchilada!

I'd give the food a sub-par rating. I ordered the grand quesadilla. The sauce it comes covered in is very bland, lacks any flavor. However, the service was very good.

Bad food and service. All meals where smothered in same sauce. I never found the chili to my Chile relleno. Disappointed we stopped.

Its was good, a lil different but good. Waiter was kind and attentive.

Craving Mexican food and had decided to try El bees because I had heard a few good things... It was Average Mexican/americanized food for a fine dining prices which has made the decision for us to never return an easy one. All this topped with a waitress who seemed to be bothered by our presence because she had to keep getting up from conversing loudly with what seemed to be a regular customer.. Makes us wonder how much longer El Bees will be around..

Food was AMAZING. cannot go wrong with really anything on the menu. Server took a while to get drinks, others food came out before ours even tho we were there before. But the food made up for it. Over all a great experience.

Fantastic rocks margarita with gold tequila. All three dishes looked fantastic. My chimi was perfect. Crispy tortilla loaded with shredded beef, tomato, lettuce, olives, and sour cream. The side hot sauce they provide was really peppy! Massive portions. I would highly recommend splitting a meal if you are not starving to death!

The food was awesome and the service was awesome! We have ordered their chimichangas for years but only as carry out! I would recommend it to people is the place to go for Mexican food!

Chicken Quesadilla appetizers is the best been getting the same thing for over 20+ years. Sad the original original El Bees by the train tracks in Waterloo closed down but the new locations are still amazing

Staff was very friendly, food was promptly served. I would give it five stars but my enchiladas barely had any cheese. If it was as good as any other time I ve been there, it would have a five star rating. Drinks were promptly refilled also. Thank you.
